I wanted to share where my head was at (via song) during election night 2016. I was reflecting on what i saw going happening in the world this year and let the words flow free as they arrived. No need to break down the lyrics, just listen to the joint. On the production side I wanted to take it back to the late 90's. I miss that Beats, Rhymes & Life/Gravity era (Q-Tip sound that Jay Dee elevated) vibe. It's a sound that Moka Only has really taken to the stars. I added a splash of DatFunk to the groove and there you have it. Loud snares, rolling basslines and smooth rhodes chords make the inner me smile. Did it all on my trusty EPS 16+ and Etan T'Loh sprinkled some of his secret seasoning to the mix. Hope you enjoy......

P.S. Added a picture of my pitbull Francisco for the cover art (Milkdrop killed the layout and design). The innocence passion in his eyes as he looks up at me pretty much sums up the emotion in the song. Where is the world heading..........
